Legal: Terms of Service

Catalyces is maintenance software for teams that fix and look after equipment. It is run by Catalyces LLC (“Catalyces,” “we,” “us”). These terms cover our website at catalyces.com, the web app at app.catalyces.com and our mobile apps once they are released (together, the “Service”).

When you create an account or use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you confirm that you can agree on its behalf. In that case, “you” means the company.

• The Service is for business use. You must be at least 16 to use it.
• Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us right away if you think someone else has signed in.
• The account owner and admins decide who joins the account and what each person can see and do. Every user on your account follows these terms too.

New accounts start with a free trial of one week (7 days). You don’t need a credit card to start. At the end of the trial, add a payment method to keep going. If you choose not to continue, you can still export your data.

• There is one plan: $78/month for your whole team. It includes unlimited users, assets and work orders, and every module.
• Founding 10 members pay $39/month (50% off). That rate stays locked for as long as you stay subscribed.
• We bill monthly, in advance. There are no setup fees.
• Prices don’t include taxes. Taxes may apply where you are.
• If we change the price, we’ll tell you before it takes effect. The new price starts from your next billing period. Founding 10 rates stay as promised.

You can cancel any time from your account or by writing to hello@catalyces.com. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. After that, you have 30 days to export your data in Excel, CSV or PDF. We don’t charge you again after you cancel.

Your data is yours. That includes your jobs, assets, customers, inventory, photos and files. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run the Service for you. You can export it any time.

Please use the Service fairly. That means you agree to:

• use it only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms;
• upload only content you have the right to use;
• keep to your own account and your own data;
• leave the Service’s security, code and other customers’ data alone, and not overload, copy or resell the Service;
• respect the privacy of the people whose details you store, including your customers and team members.

Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon. When they are released, these terms will cover them too. The app stores may also have their own terms for downloads.

We work hard to keep Catalyces running and to make it better every week. Sometimes we need to pause it for maintenance or updates, and we try to do that at quiet times. We may add, change or retire features as the product grows. If a change takes away something important to you, we’ll give you notice where we can.

We love hearing what would make your day easier. If you send us ideas or feature requests, we can use them to improve Catalyces, with no obligation to you. Your own data stays yours.

We provide the Service “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those written in these terms. That includes promises that the Service will never have errors or interruptions.

To the extent the law allows, Catalyces is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. This includes lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that the law does not let us limit.

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or that puts the Service or other customers at risk. Where we can, we’ll contact you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close your account, you still get 30 days to export your data, unless the law prevents it.

We may update these terms as the product grows. We’ll change the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Catalyces LLC is registered.
