Your jobs, machines and customers are the heart of your business. Here is how we look after them, in plain words.
Your account is kept separate
Every company on Catalyces has its own account. Each record, from a job to a photo, belongs to one account. Your team sees only your account’s data, and other customers see only theirs.
Encrypted on the way
All traffic to Catalyces goes over HTTPS (TLS). That covers the website and the web app at app.catalyces.com. Data moving between your phone or laptop and our servers is encrypted on the way.
Who sees what
- Roles and permissions. Set what each person can see and do, down to each module and each action.
- Own jobs only. Limit technicians to the jobs assigned to them.
- Approvals. Set approval rules so the right person signs off first.
- Customer portal. Your customers see only their own jobs.
- Tracking links. A tracking link shows only what you choose to share on that job. You can switch it off at any time.
A record of every change
The audit log records every create, update and delete in your account. It shows who made the change and when. So when someone asks “who closed this job?”, you have the answer.
Files and photos
Photos and documents you upload are stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud storage. They stay attached to the job, asset or record they belong to, inside your account.
Location and the team map
The team map shows where your field team is right now, so you know who is where without a round of phone calls.
- While a team member is signed in to the app, their phone can send live location pings. A ping holds latitude, longitude, accuracy, heading, speed, battery level and time.
- A live pin leaves the map after 5 minutes without an update.
- We keep only each person’s single latest point, so the map can show “last seen”. Each new point replaces the one before. No location history is stored.
- Only the account owner and admins can see the team map.
- Separately, if your account turns it on, a time log can record GPS location when it is saved.
Your data is yours
You own everything you put into Catalyces. Export it to Excel, CSV or PDF any time. If you cancel, you have 30 days to take it with you. Read more in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Signing in
New accounts confirm their email address before they get in. If someone forgets a password, they can reset it with a link sent to their email.
