HVAC maintenance software: Every cooling unit's history, in one place

Catalyces is maintenance software for HVAC and refrigeration contractors, and for the in-house techs who keep a building's systems running. It handles work orders, preventive maintenance plans for seasonal tune-ups, full equipment history for every rooftop unit and chiller, parts used on each job, and a signed service report your customer can see.

Sound familiar?

The notes on every HVAC & Refrigeration whiteboard.

Built for HVAC and refrigeration contractors who dispatch techs to client sites, and for in-house teams running a single building's systems. Works whether you run two trucks or twenty.

  • Can't remember which unit still needs its filter change this month.
  • Refrigerant logs live on paper tags taped inside the unit.
  • A customer wants proof of the last service visit, right now.
  • Techs text photos of the nameplate instead of logging the asset.
A typical day

Same work. Less chasing.

Here’s how an ordinary day goes once the jobs, machines and customers live in one place.

  1. 6:45 am

You check the board over coffee and see three units flagged for today's PM visit.

  2. 11:20 am

A rooftop unit trips on high head pressure. You pull up its service history on your phone before you even get on the roof.

  3. 2:00 pm

You log the refrigerant added and the parts used, then mark the job done.

  4. 4:30 pm

The customer gets a signed report with the readings, so they stop calling to ask what you found.

How Catalyces helps HVAC & Refrigeration teams

1

Preventive maintenance that runs itself

Set a PM plan for each unit, monthly or every 3 months. The job gets created on schedule, so nobody has to remember. Skip a visit or run one early when weather changes your plan.

2

A service history for every unit

Every rooftop unit, chiller and mini-split gets its own record: brand, location, photos and every past job attached. The next tech on site sees what was done last time, not just what's broken now.

3

Sign-off your customer can trust

Checklist results, readings and the customer's signature land in one PDF before you leave the parking lot. No more calls asking what the tech actually did.

What you can keep track of

  • Rooftop units
  • Split systems
  • Chillers
  • Walk-in refrigeration
  • Package units
  • Ductwork
  • Thermostats and controls
  • Condensers

Add your own fields, like serial number or warranty date, to any of them.

Yes. Log refrigerant type and amount added as a cost or note on the work order, attached to that unit's history. Add custom fields on the asset for refrigerant type and charge size. When your inspector asks, filter the jobs for that unit and export the full record to Excel or PDF.

You look after the machines. We’ll look after the paperwork.
